01 The house
We opened in 2015, on this same block
Kingdom Emeralds opened its doors in March 2015 in the Old Town of Cartagena, on Calle Estanco del Aguardiente. Today the store sits in the Edificio Pombo, on Calle del Cuartel, a few steps from where we started and still beside the Teatro Heredia. The work has not changed since: Colombian emeralds, our own workshop, and a certificate that states exactly what each piece is.
We do not claim more years than we have. It is a common temptation in this trade and we have chosen to avoid it: what holds a jeweler up is not the date on its sign, but what it delivers when a customer comes back.
02 The name
Three names, one workshop
This house was not born with the name Kingdom. We keep all three emblems in plain view because a customer who returns after some years has every right to recognize where they bought, and because a brand that hides its history is usually hiding something else.

The mark was refined — from the literal crown to a gem-and-letter monogram — but the craft changed neither hands nor address: the same workshop, the same stones, the same Old Town.
03 How we work
Three commitments, and none of them is a slogan
We state what each piece is
Species, metal, purity and treatment are written into the certificate. If an emerald has been treated, the document says so.
We do not overstate our history
Not the years, not the credentials, not the origin of a stone when it cannot be backed up. Precision is also a form of service.
04 The team
Those who advise and those who make
Two different trades hold this store up: the one that guides the customer and the one that works the metal. Both happen in the same room, in plain sight.
