1. Who is responsible for your data

This policy follows Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 (now part of Decree 1074 of 2015) on personal data protection. The Spanish version is the reference text.
2. What data we collect
When you browse this site. Only if you accept cookies, we collect technical data about your visit: pages viewed, time on site, device type, browser, approximate city or country, and the campaign or site that referred you. We never ask for your name or email to browse.
When you contact us. If you reach us by WhatsApp, email or Instagram, we process your name, your number or account and what you tell us, in order to reply.
When you buy. Name, ID or passport number, contact details and, where relevant, shipping address, to issue the invoice and the piece's certificate, handle the tax refund, shipping and warranty.
We do not request sensitive data or data from minors.
3. What we use it for
To answer your questions and book appointments; to sell, invoice, certify and ship pieces; to provide warranty and after-sales service; to meet legal and tax obligations; to measure how the site is used and improve it; and, if you agree, to measure and show Kingdom Emeralds ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. We will only send you commercial news if you authorize it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Cookies
On your first visit we show a notice. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel stay off until you click Accept; if you click Decline, they are not set. You can change your choice at any time with the link at the foot of every page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers of services we need: Google (analytics and site hosting), Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram and ads), shipping carriers, the laboratory that certifies our pieces, and authorities when the law requires it. Google and Meta may process data outside Colombia, particularly in the United States, under their own safeguards.
6. Your rights
You may access, update and correct your data; request proof of the authorization you gave us; ask how it has been used; withdraw your authorization or ask us to delete it where no legal duty requires us to keep it; and file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). Accessing your data is free of charge.
7. How to exercise them
Write to contacto@kingdomemeralds.com with your name, ID, what you are requesting and how we should reply. We answer inquiries within 10 business days (extendable by 5) and claims within 15 business days (extendable by 8), and will tell you if we need the extension. Before going to the SIC, you must first file your claim with us.
8. How long we keep it
Conversation data, for as long as the business relationship lasts and a reasonable time afterwards; invoicing data, for the period required by accounting and tax law; analytics data, for the periods in the table above.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change it materially, we will publish it on this page with the new effective date.
